PLASA '06 will also give aspiring DJs the opportunity to mix with some of the best-known names in the business, as well as a chance to witness the record-breaking music event of the year, as world renowned DJ, Cut La Roc, simultaneously mixes on 20 CDJs and 10 mixers.

Also at PLASA '06 will be the Raw Talent Showcase, in which the winners of iDJ's monthly mix competition will perform throughout the day and the A&R Zone, where budding producers can bring along their demos and get expert opinion from some of dance music's leading labels.
The DMC World Championships will be held on Sunday 10 and Monday 11 September at the Hammersmith Palais, with contestants running live demos from the DMC stand throughout the show. Before PLASA has even opened its doors on Sunday morning, Ebsel Pro Audio will have set the pace with an American style 'DJ Gong Battle' on Friday 8 September at Bar Rumba.
