Europe - D&M Installation (DMi) and Hawking Technology have signed an exclusive agreement for the distribution of the US manufacturer's CI networking products in Europe by DMi, with immediate effect. With the agreement, DMi now offers a professional range of network products to partner the new generation of AV signal source components from Denon, Marantz and Escient.

The Californian based company's product range includes Wireless Access Points, Gigabit switches and wireless security cameras. With the addition of selected Hawking Technology products and systems to the DMi portfolio, D&M Europe's dedicated CI division now offers integrated network solutions to interface with the latest Ethernet and WIFI network enabled products from Denon, Marantz and Escient, as well as with WiFi control systems like the Marantz RC9001 touch-screen universal remote control handset.

Commenting on the agreement, DMi brand director Bert Kiggen stated: "This agreement, for the exclusive distribution of Hawking Technology products throughout Europe, is highly significant in enabling our objective of providing one-stop, end-to-end integration solutions to the CI market, unique in terms of their premium brand offerings. Hawking Technology represents such a premium, best-in-class offering in networking components."

At ISE 09, DMi will be exhibiting its end-to-end integration solutions, incorporating multi room AV systems and whole house entertainment. DMi will be debuting new source and control products from Denon, Marantz and Escient, and new ranges of in wall, in ceiling, in cabinet and outdoor speaker systems from both Boston Acoustics and SNELL Acoustics, as well as Hawking Technology's network products.
