When Crown Stage and Theatre Services were brought on board by Willmott Dixon Construction to carry out the installation of the drama equipment required to fulfil the needs of the school, a range of products from Doughty Engineering was specified.
Crown Stage's Russell Payne said, "When it comes to jobs like this, Doughty Engineering is our first choice. We have a long trading history and an excellent working relationship with them. We've been using their products for over 20 years and we know they are guaranteed to be of a high standard with the assurance of quality and safety."
Russell and his team installed Doughty's Easy Deck staging system - a modular product which is easy to both build and disassemble - Six Track curtain track and a range of custom designed lighting bars, which were manufactured to Crown Stage's specification.
Russell continued, "Doughty really is a one stop shop for a job such as a drama installation. We know we can get all our hardware fittings, from track to clamps, from them and know they're all top quality. The backup from staff is always to a high standard. Whether it's sales staff on the front line or directors higher up the chain, the same attention is always given to sorting out the kind of issues which can crop up during installations, even if it's down to client error rather than a problem with the product.
"We have a very happy client and most importantly a very happy school which is able to make use of an excellent facility to enhance the education of all of its pupils."
