The MPS6001 is ideally suited to a wide range of applications. In the broadcast environment it will prove particularly useful when DPA miniature microphones are directly connected to cameras and other devices without phantom power. In live music situations, especially in small venues where 48V phantom power is not always available, the MPS6001 will function as an invaluable safety device, providing artists with their own battery-operated power supply complete with a useful belt clip for easy on-stage handling.
The MPS6001 also features a 3-pin XLR output with mechanical on/off switch inside the XLR housing, thus saving battery power when not connected to an XLR plug. As with all products from DPA Microphones, the MPS6001 is covered by a two-year warranty.
