Day one will focus on the AXYS Intellivox range. The Intellivox range, first introduced in 1996, was the pioneer of beam steering. AXYS Intellivox units have since been installed in airports, atriums, railway stations, shopping malls, theatres, concert halls, museums, and many more difficult acoustic environments all over the world to provide highly intelligible speech reproduction in environments.
Day two will focus on how to successfully design and commission systems based Intellivox products. Attendees will not only learn how to design systems using the AXYS DDA (Digital Directivity Analysis) modelling software but they will then have the opportunity to re-create this design in real life in the large demo space that is available at Cardiff City Hall.
Day three will focus on the AXYS Sound Reinforcement range. Duran Audio has made a very successful entry back into the world sound reinforcement over the last few years with several very high profile projects and installations in concert halls, theatres and also audio art installations. On day three we will explore the range of products on offer, including the companies highly innovative range of Beam Shaping Subwoofers.
