The units are EN54:24 approved for both indoor and outdoor use (EN54:24 - Type B) and can be driven by the AXYS IndustryAmp range of DSP controlled 70V/100V multichannel amplifiers.

The AXYS ABF260 quickly became an industry standard loudspeaker for tunnels; gaining a reputation for delivering clear and intelligible messages in what are the most hostile acoustic environments.
At ISE Duran Audio will feature the new ABF260/100W. The ABF boasts a more powerful 100W driver (previous version was 50W), new injection moulded construction, improved ingress protection and the unit has a modular design which allows the height to be reduced in tunnels where the vehicle envelope is very close to the tunnel ceiling. The ABF has been designed to be used with the AXYS IndustryAmp range of DSP controlled 70V/100V multichannel amplifiers which provide all the delay and signal processing required for tunnel systems.
