The system in the Botanik restaurant includes six EAW SMS5 surface mount loudspeakers in a white finish and two EAW VRS18 high output subwoofers; the Champagne Bar features 12 EAW SMS3 surface mount loudspeakers, all in white finish; and the Lounge Bar's system includes 12 EAW VR62 compact full-range loudspeakers and two VRS18s.
The centerpiece of the complex's audio is the EAW DX1208 DSP Matrix Mixer, which allows control of input selection and volume in all three zones of the facility. Three EAW UR-1 and three EAW UR-2 real-time universal remotes accompany the DX1208, providing convenient access to the DX1208's features and functions, including volume level, input muting and priority recall.
Gjika and the rest of the EAW community in Albania have also joined the industry in mourning the loss of EAW's Moray McMillin, and the completion of the audio system at the Diesel Hall complex gave Gjika the opportunity to reflect on McMillin's contributions to this project: "When we were getting the DX1208 set up, we had a few questions, and we called Moray McMillin. He helped us out right away, and he was a real class act, as he always was. We were devastated to hear of his untimely passing a few weeks ago. We dedicate this installation to him and his memory, and we will continue to remember him fondly."
