Elation strengthens bonds at rELATIONship 2023

Over 60 representatives from Elation’s European partner network took part, looking to "strengthen personal bonds and celebrate the ties that make the family-owned company special".
“rELATIONship was a blast and a huge success,” says Marc Librecht, sales & marketing director at Elation Europe. “For us, the most important part of doing business is the relationships we have the opportunity to build and the memories we create with some wonderful people so to get us all together in the same room and let our hair down a bit was just fantastic. We’ve added quite a few new members to the Elation family of late and as we continue to grow, we know that it's these strong personal bonds that set us apart and make the Elation family a truly remarkable one.”
Moderated by Elation international sales manager Frederik Afif, the event was informative and engaging with open and honest conversations the centrepiece of the day. Topics were diverse, from sales and marketing strategies and best practices to training, service, successes, challenges and more.
Yet it was the personal interaction that was most meaningful, according to the manufacturer. Elation partners had the opportunity to engage with product specialists about product innovation and development, and a number of industry professionals shared their knowledge and experience in special presentations, including an enlightening address by Alexander Ostermaier of event industry association forward.live, and an insightful talk by Uli Petzold, senior managing director at Elation's German partner LMP Lichttechnik.
Petzold comments: “The feelings at this distributor meeting were real and everyone was interested in what rELATIONship really looks like and what it means. I’ve been to many of these kinds of events before and have to congratulate Elation on how much warmer you made this meeting. The chemistry between Elation and its distributors was remarkable from the start.”
rELATIONship 2023 concluded with a gala dinner and special awards presentation in which Elation European distributors were recognised for their exceptional dedication and outstanding achievements throughout the last year.
“It was a perfect way to put the spotlight on our partners and their achievements, and a way for us to say thank you for all they do,” expresses Marc Librecht. “rELATIONship was all about building genuine connections while motivating us to move forward together as the Elation family and I really think it succeeded.”
