UK - ELC, developer of DMX ethernet distribution products and DMX show recorders will be celebrating two strangely apposite milestones at this year's PLASA Show. Not only is it the company's 10th Birthday, but the 2007 show will mark the moment when it sells the 2007th of its FocusHAND/FocusBRAIN wireless DMX remote control units.

Designed to allow remote control of lanterns in a rig with any lighting consoles, the current FocusBRAIN XL and FocusHAND2 both offer the same compact, rugged handheld remote, coupled with wireless receivers that merge control from the remote with the DMX data from the lighting console, giving an operator direct control of DMX channels independently of the lighting console.

The sale of the 2007th unit will be marked by a presentation to the purchaser on the first day of PLASA07. Also on hand will be representatives from the Royal Albert Hall. The RAH were the purchasers of the very first FocusBRAIN sold in the UK and are still using the system today.

See ELC at PLASA 07 - Stand D77.
