The key to this efficiency is in the Opti 16-4 WW/CW's four high-output 1W LEDs, which are bright enough to flood any stage, production set or exhibit in warm or cool white light, whichever the mood calls for. The Opti 16-4 WW (3000K) or "warm white" version measures 229 LUX at a distance of 6.6ft, while the Opti 16-4 CW (6000K) or "cool white" model measures 359 LUX at 6.6ft.
In addition to being energy-efficient, the Opti 16-4 WW/CW's LED lamps have a long lifespan. Rated at 50,000 hours, they save users the time and expense of lamp replacement. Because LEDs produce no infrared or ultraviolet light, the Opti-16-4 WW/CW also offers the advantage of having a cooler running temperature than halogen par cans, keeping performers on stage more comfortable and eliminating the risk of heat damage to illuminated objects.
"With all of its LED advantages, the Opti 16-4 represents a vast improvement over the standard white halogen par can," said Eric Loader, director of sales for Elation Professional. "Being available in both warm and cool white versions, and with its plug-and-play theatrical case design, this exciting new 'basic' is great for a wide variety of uses - event productions, theaters, churches, staging, exhibits, indoor architectural applications, video production, you name it."
