The LG innovations on show include 9x 55" backlit LED displays - combined to create a huge interactive videowall - an individual UHD 84" touchscreen and three transflective 55" displays. The nine-display videowall will include PQ Labs infrared touch overlay powered by an Amari server - as part of Engage's 'transformation' process - with each individual LG display boasting 3.5mm bezels and the company's unique proprietary IPS (In Plane Switching) technology. LG's panel technology ensures accurate colour reproduction, reduced image interruption and class leading viewing angles to provide a truly immersive user experience.
Warren Lewis, European director for commercial screens and displays at LG, comments, "Working this closely with companies like Engage means that they will be at the heart of the product development cycle and able to influence next generation displays. This is extremely valuable for all parties and the industry as a whole, as it helps LG to push the boundaries of the AV spectrum by being the first to bring previously unthought-of innovations to market."
Steve Blyth, Engage Production founder and managing director adds, "We're thrilled to be able to announce this Tech Innovation venture with LG, and to showcase the company's incredible LED technology. Our new interactive wall and supporting displays will create new interactive hubs within FLUX, allowing visitors to see the potential of our corporate collaboration tech programmes - something we termed iLAND - and our newly launched Marketing Engagement Suites."
