Enlightened geared up for Glasto with Nexo

A recent investment in a Nexo Geo M10 line array system has seen Enlightened bolstering an already significant inventory of Nexo ID and P+ Series point-source boxes.
“They’re like hot cakes” reports production manager Ryan Stromski. “The utilisation of our Nexo stock is so high, they’re never on the shelf.”
The new Geo M10 system was only in the warehouse for a few days before heading to Glastonbury where Enlightened had over 50 lists of equipment distributed over at least 10 locations around the festival site. On return, it went straight out again for a summer party at a local school.
“Geo M10 stood out as the system that made total commercial sense for us,” adds Andy Thompson, head of hire and production. “It gives us the flexibility we need to cover a wide range of jobs, with the best and fastest return on investment. Somehow Nexo speakers seem to perform at least as well as other leading brands, but at a much better price.
“And it’s not just about the product,” continues Ryan. “From the initial demos in France through to training our team and beyond, the ongoing support we get from Nexo is unlike any other. It’s like being part of a family.”
Itself a close-knit group of 30 dedicated professionals, the team at Enlightened is passionate about delivering the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction, and about contributing positively to the industry and the protection of the environment.
The company has impressive on-site training facilities, and a programme of paid internships regularly sees graduates from local universities and colleges come through the ranks at Enlightened and flourish in their own careers in production services.
The warehouse runs almost entirely from solar energy generated by large photovoltaic arrays on the roof, and other environmentally minded initiatives include a move to bio-degradable tape, both in the warehouse and out in the field.
“The Nexo system aligns well with our values in this respect also” comments general manager Andrew Bartlett. “It’s extremely powerful, but also compact and light in weight, so it’s easier and less polluting to transport and deploy.”
The full system comprises 12 x Geo M10 line array elements with six L15 subs and two NXAMP4X2Mk2 powered controllers. Commenting on behalf of Nexo, UK sales manager Rich Soper says, “We’re delighted to welcome Enlightened to the Nexo line array rental network. They join many other happy partners finding that the M10 fits that perfect space where it’s discreet enough for the conference and powerful enough for the evening entertainment.”
