UK - London-based Entec Sound & Light has been appointed as an Approved Supplier of lighting services to top UK tourist attraction, the Natural History Museum. The appointment, which takes effect immediately and lasts for five years, is the culmination of a highly competitive tender process that saw Entec win the contract ahead of many top industry rivals. Under the contract terms, Entec will be invited to supply lighting services for the increasing number of private events staged at the Museum's premises in Kensington, west London.

"Our competitiveness, flexible approach and ability to meet the very tight deadlines for install and breakdown were all key factors in winning the Natural History Museum contract," says Entec's Noreen O'Riordan. It also highlights the range and diversity of events for which Entec can supply technical production.

This is the latest in a series of new business deals for Entec, which also include supplying lighting and sound services to Blur's current European tour, the 9th National TV Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, UK tours with Jools Holland, The Mavericks and The Beautiful South, plus Belle & Sebastian in the US.
