Part 2 covers electrical safety and practical aspects of power distribution for the live event industry
USA - The second in a series of three training DVDs presented by ETCP Recognised Trainer Richard Cadena is now available at http://bit.ly/EEonVid2. Entertainment Electrics on DVD Part 2 is a series of 22 video modules with a 10- to 15-minute presentation covering a single topic related to live event production electrics, followed by a short quiz to test your knowledge and retention.

Part 2 covers electrical safety and practical aspects of power distribution for the live event industry. It covers topics that are listed as being in the content outline for the ETCP Entertainment Electrician Certification Exam. ETCP Certified Electricians and ETCP Recognized Riggers can get recertification points for taking this video course.

"I honestly thought producing this series of videos would be a three-month project, and now, nine months later, we're only releasing the second of three DVDs," said APT founder Richard Cadena. "It's like birthing a baby! But I would rather make sure it's a quality product than to meet artificially imposed deadlines."

The videos presented in this DVD are from the three-day class that Cadena has been presenting for eight years. The class has helped hundreds of live event production professionals better understand the intricacies of electrical power distribution, electrical safety, and control systems.

While the feedback from attendees has been very positive, attending the class typically requires taking time off of work, missing pay and presenting scheduling conflicts. In many cases, attendees have to travel as well, adding to the cost of attending. Entertainment Electrics on DVD alleviates much of these issues, allowing participants to work in their spare time in the privacy of their home or office.

There is also an optional 125-page workbook that can be purchased a small additional cost. The workbook contains all of the illustrations and diagrams shown in the videos.
