In 2002, Peroni graduated from the film and television school, Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD), in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, where he studied lighting. Following his graduation, Peroni began working for television studios in Rome, then joined Link S.r.l., an entertainment-product manufacturer based out of Italy. There he served as a project manager for the American market. In 2011, he began a new job at Luxemburg's Codex Events, serving as production manager for events. Then in 2013, Peroni joined ETC as a field project coordinator for the French market. Later his service region was expanded to cover Spain and North Africa.
Gabbani's love for theatrical lighting started at a young age, when he helped his brother clean fixtures and load trucks at their uncle's rental company. In 2000, he earned a degree in telecommunication engineering from Pisa University. For a few years, he worked as an engineer at a software company, but realized that theatrical lighting was his true calling. He made the transition to touring, serving as a technician and lighting operator. Gabbani began assisting ETC with training and product demos, and in 2008, stepped in at an Italian tradeshow to demo SmartFade-family consoles for ETC. Less than a year later, he was invited to join ETC as a field project coordinator for Southern Europe and the Middle East.
"Davide and Daniele's new roles will allow them to focus more proactively on their individual regions, and work more closely with our dealers and distributors in those markets," explains ETC vice president of sales Mark Vassallo. "Davide and Daniele are both very bright and extremely enthusiastic about becoming regional sales managers. I will really enjoy working with both of them in their new sales management roles."
