Representing ETC, Fulvio Cotogni and Davide Gabbani presented a full range of lighting and control equipment, including the Congo, Eos and SmartFade lines, Selador LED fixtures and Source Four automated and conventional luminaires.
"We were both surprised and impressed by the number of people who came to the day-long event," says Cotogni, who is ETC's regional manager for southern Europe. "And they were of extremely high calibre. We gave hands on product demonstrations to professionals from across the industry, including freelancers, rental companies and TV studios. In fact, one conversation led directly to an order for Selador fixtures for a TV studio in Bosnia. It's unusual for open house events to achieve visitor numbers anywhere close to this."
The event encompassed Studio Berar's entire product range across the 500sq.m show floor, so visitors were able to see video and audio products as well as lighting. There were also a number of workshops where visitors could discuss the latest industry developments.
Studio Berar's executive manager Slobodan Vec?kalov says, "We had an extremely positive response from all our exhibitors, and the open day will certainly be repeated. The event demonstrated to our customers the customer support that they can expect from us and the manufacturers we work with, both before and after sales."
