Spain - At ISE 2024, KSCAPE will celebrate five years of merging technologies with its professional lighting and audio product: RAIL. The brand, which is part of the wider K-array group, has announced the launch of RAIL S, a family of alternative solutions designed to complement and enhance RAIL. As part of this announcement, KSCAPE introduces RAIL S Track to the market, which aims to seamlessly blend lighting and integrated professional sound within a traditional track system.

Spain - IP audio specialist Barix adds a new flavour to its encoding family with MultiCoder M400 new low-latency, multi-format solution that can send audio streams to receive points in four different formats. To be introduced at ISE 2024 in Barcelona later this month, the new hardware device also adopts Barix’s next-generation FLEXA platform to enhance buffering performance, application development, and device prototyping among other benefits.
For the MultiCoder M400, the enhanced buffering performance of the FLEXA platform eliminates all stream buffering within the device - an important benefit given the presence of multiple encoding engines under the hood. USA - UK loudspeaker manufacturer PMC is showcasing its full range of professional monitors on booth 15908 at this year’s NAMM exhibition in California.
In collaboration with SSL, Avid, Dolby and Izotope, PMC will highlight the growing importance of Dolby Atmos for Music and its own role as an industry leader is this field. The set contains all the necessary items to realise countless installation variants: the universal carrier enables lighting or small loudspeakers to be mounted. There is also a universal plate to mount moving lights, projectors etc. and a TV mounting plate. Speakers can be mounted centrally using a spigot.
The set is rounded off by a display mount to hold two displays with a maximum surface area of up to 1.5 m² per display (back to back) and a display holder that can be adjusted in four angles (e.g. for previewers or touchscreens).

AMPS chair Andrew Wilson, expressed enthusiasm for this year's nominees, stating: "The nominees showcase a remarkable blend of creativity and technical mastery. UK - RCF UK has announced two open days - one in the north of England, one in the south - for the official UK launch of TT+ AUDIO’s new large-format GTX line array.
With support from head office in Italy, they will be showcasing the premium system on 5 February at the Glasshouse, Gateshead, with two presentations - one at 10.30am, and one at 1.30pm. Then three days later they repeat the formula down south at the Millennium Studios, Bedford, where a second presentation (also at 10.30am and 1.30pm) will be held for more southern-based dealers, specifiers and media representatives.

The first new product introduction is the much anticipated multi-channel, live production reverb feature for TiMax SoundHub. This new plug-in option, available to all existing HARDCore FPGA-equipped TiMax SoundHub units, adds no less than four individual 1-in / 16-out reverb engines which give sound designers full control of all parameters, as well as access to an advanced 3D room reverb-builder application.
