This new partnership between sE and Rupert Neve Designs completes a natural progression from the manufacturing project the two companies have been working on together for the last three years to produce microphone products within the new sE Rupert Neve Signature Series.
"There is a natural synergy developing between our two companies," says sE Electronics' James Young, "both on a product level and a personal level that has enabled us to produce, in a relatively short time, a truly world class piece of microphone technology with the sE RNR1 active ribbon microphone, and with more products to follow very shortly. This partnership of ideas has been so successful that it seemed a very clear path for us to work with the Rupert Neve Designs group on marketing and distributing both the new sE Rupert Neve Signature Series products, and the existing sE range.
"The existing sE products have also already benefited immensely from Mr Neve's painstaking input into production methods and quality control, with great leaps taken in 2008 in the consistency and performance of sE mics that had already become market leaders in their price points in Europe and around the world since our two companies started working together."

Fingerprint Audio is a consortium of audio professionals that include Rupert Neve, Josh Thomas and Steffenee Copley. Steffenee joins Fingerprint Audio as director of sales and marketing. She previously helped launch the Ultrasone brand in North and South America, from 2003 to 2008.
