Bandit Lites worked with AC Entertainment and the festival's production manager, Richard Wold of Lambda Productions, to provide the lighting rig for two stages and the DJ tent.
Dubbed by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the "Coolest Festivals," the Forecastle Festival is in its twelfth year and takes place in downtown Louisville's scenic 85-acre Waterfront Park on the Ohio river. This year's line-up included festival favourites Outkast, Jack White, Beck, Spoon, The Replacements, Ray LaMontagne, Nickel Creek and Jason Isbell in addition to 60 more acts spread out across multiple stages and evenings.
A special aspect of the Forecastle Festival is its dedication to not only providing great musical acts, but also including over 100 local, regional and national artists in addition to promoting activism by featuring more than 150 environmental non-profits and outdoor recreational organizations over its decade long tenure.
Bandit supplied VL 3500 washes, VL 3000 spots, GRN moving washes and GRN pars, Clay Paky Sharpys, Martin Atomic strobes, Lycian M2 spots and Grand MA 2 full consoles.
On-site support from Bandit was provided by Aaron Swetland, Sam Morgan, Joseph Eberle, Shane Harrington, Phil Stroud and Julie Cox. Bandit's Shawn Lear also provided immeasurable support as the event's project manager.
