The announcement follows on from the original sponsorship agreement between the two parties which saw Trigger using the Formula Sound FF-6000 mixer at the many large-scale dance events it was involved in throughout the UK. Trigger promotes its own individual blend of bass-driven Electro Breaks dance music and rates the quality of the sound reproduction as an absolute priority.
At the time of the original sponsorship deal, Trigger representative DJ Kosmikneil commented that his organisation "believes passionately in the value of high quality sound to make our events a success," and that Trigger was "blown away with Formula Sound's new FF-6000 mixer - for the dance market there is no other mixer out there which can touch it."
Having now used the FF-6000 many, many times, DJ Kosmikneil is still equally impressed. "The new FF-4000 is equally as capable and impressive as the larger FF-6000 that we've been using," he says." It delivers broadcast quality audio but with an interface that has been designed specifically for DJs. For that reason we're delighted to continue our association with Formula Sound."
The original FF-6000 mixer was designed in collaboration with UK loudspeaker manufacturer Funktion-One, and with leading DJs. The features which the DJs specifically requested for the FF-6000 are included on the new FF-4000 mixer, including a flexible crossfader mounted beneath the channel strips for precise control, an optional fader panel that gives the opportunity to switch between linear and rotary channel faders and large control knobs on the most frequently used functions.
