Launched earlier this year, the Frog 2s have found homes in theatres, churches and multi-purpose venues across the globe - but this was their first outing at a festival event. The two Frog 2 consoles were in action in the 'Full Cycle' Hardcore House arena and 'Hed Kandi' hospitality tent. Controlling a collection of Martin MAC 250s, 300s, 500s and 600s, the consoles were certainly put through their paces at this demanding 15-hour dance event.
Simon Stuart of HSL explains: "The buskability of the Frog 2s, along with its on-board effects makes them quick and easy to program - a critical requirement for dance environments. We are very pleased with the desks performance on the night and for the price, they offer outstanding value for money. We also received great support from Zero 88 in the run-up to and during the event itself. Providing the lighting and sound for the entire festival was a mammoth job, and it was nice to know that the Frog 2s were one thing we didn't have to worry about!"
