From Australian Monitor comes the Installation Series AMC line of amplifiers. This takes the heritage and reliability of the company's AMIS series and integrates its features into a low-cost amplifier format for applications which require reliability, without the more elaborate characteristics of the AMIS series. Available in 30W, 60W and 120W versions the AMC series is essentially a 2U mixer amplifier featuring 100V line and 4 ohm outputs, and three universal mic/line inputs. From the same company is the new AMIS ZRM4 (a 1U zone routing mixer). This is easy to use, yet highly featured, with six inputs that can be balanced XLR mic or dual RCA/balanced XLR line level, all available to any combination of four-zone outputs.
Fuzion will present the new Studio and Neo ranges from WORK, introduced to the UK at the recent Bar:05 expo. Fuzion plc are expecting high demand from project architects and interior designers for the next generation of aesthetically-styled Work STUDIO series.
Manufactured by Spanish company Equipson, these compact, two-way loudspeakers build on the past success of this series with an improved technical specification - all hitting the same price points as their predecessors. The performance key is in the significant improvement offered by the use of a small horn tweeter instead of a direct radiating driver.
Available in black or white - and with a 100V/70V line option - the STUDIO series has been designed to achieve hi-fi background music reproduction whilst visually enhancing a variety of environments, such as bars, retail and general leisure purposes. Contractors will also benefit from the improved tilt bracket, which is available as an option. Also from the same source are three compact, stylish and practical NEO 2-way plastic sound contractor enclosures (NEO 4, NEO 5 and NEO 6), with rotary stick mounting system. The NEO 4 contains a 4" woofer and 13mm tweeter and offers a power handling of 40W RMS (into 8 ohms); the NEO 5 houses a 5" woofer and ½" tweeter, with power handling of 50W RMS (into 8 ohms), and the NEO 6 boasts a 6in woofer and ½" tweeter, giving a power output of 60W into 8 ohms. All three come in 100V line transformer versions.
Fuzion will also show Radian Engineering's ultra-compact MicroWedge series. This will include the RMW-1108 (with 8" woofer and 1" compression driver), the latest addition to the ultra low-profile coaxial floor monitor family.
Meanwhile, Fuzion's lighting division (DiFuzion) will introduce some new products from their man supplier, Futurelight. The company recently supplied Over Audio with a number of scanners and moving heads for Club Sanuk in Blackpool, and head of DiFuzion, Graham Barron, promises some further innovations from the German automated lighting company at PLASA.
Fuzion can be found at PLASA on stand F40-F41.
