USA - Bolstering its reputation as an industry innovator, Gand Concert Sound (GCS) of Elk Grove Village, IL recently took delivery of a large inventory of E-Series and S-Series loudspeakers from Adamson Systems Engineering.
“After several years of research, we zeroed in on Adamson’s latest concert sound packages,” shares Gary Gand, president of the company bearing his name. “The last decade has seen many refinements in line array technology, and we believe Adamson manufactures the best available rig, so that’s where we made our investment.”
The package includes a significant complement of Adamson’s E12 three-way, true line source enclosures, S10 two-way, full range sub-compact line array cabinets, and E119 subwoofers, plus a number of E-Rack unified rack solutions, featuring Lab.gruppen amplification with Lake processing and Dante audio networking functionality.
“We were looking for a new rider-friendly system that could work for all of the applications that GCS is known for, from large outdoor festivals and sports arenas to high-profile corporate events and mid-sized golden lady theaters,” offers GCS vice president Tim Swan, who adds praise for the service the company has already received from Adamson – including the two-day Applied Certification training presented by Adamson factory experts Brian Fraser and Rick Woida in the days following the purchase.
The training took place at GCS’s warehouse near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, and as Swan states, the Adamson systems “gave the jumbo jets a run for their money”.
