Existing partners, Hawthorn, Stage Electrics, and White Light have become GDS's stock-holding, main distributors
UK - Lighting manufacturer GDS has re-structured its UK distribution network to widen access to market for its products.

Existing partners, Hawthorn, Stage Electrics, and White Light have become GDS's stock-holding, main distributors, supplying the GDS range on a large scale across the board.

Alongside the distributors, GDS continues to work with installation partners LSI Projects and Push the Button.

As part of the review of its distribution network, the company has appointed Black Light, Enlightened, National Stage Technologies (formerly Northern Stage Services and Lancelyn Theatre Supplies) as committed, non-stock-holding dealers, who hold demonstration kit and are able to supply GDS products.

GDS managing director Matt Lloyd comments, "The success of GDS products like ArcSystem has been brought to wide attention by their presence in many large scale and extremely prestigious installations. It's equally important to stress that the principles embodied in this technology can be applied on any scale, from the smallest arts centre to the grandest arena.

"It has to be said that the support of our distributor network has made a significant and valuable contribution to the success we've enjoyed in recent years. Our newly structured expansion of the network is designed to further capitalise on that reciprocal success and ensure that we remain well positioned to meet the growing demand for our products and services."
