The decision by Gearhouse to become the technical sponsor for Mediatech Africa is to showcase the latest solutions and service offerings targeted at the live event industry who naturally gravitate to Mediatech Africa.
"In addition to providing the latest technical support and solutions at the expo, we'll be raising awareness of Gearhouse Splitbeam," says Gearhouse's Robyn D'Alessandro. "Splitbeam is a new company which offers variety of smaller applications and their stockholding is specifically geared towards the Theatre market".
D'Alessandro believes that Mediatech Africa is a powerful platform as it draws a wide attendance from all areas of the industry and that anyone planning an event or an installation should visit this expo. "In an era where technology evolves so rapidly," she says, "you are only competitive if you are abreast of the latest developments and capabilities. For the buyer, it is a taste of what's available at the leading edge."
The diverse programme at Mediatech Africa includes over 500 brands on display, live demos, the latest OB vehicles, AV technology workshops, a technology and production conference including an international speaker line-up and a business matchmaking programme. Visitors will be able to pre-register and be matched to relevant exhibitors. Meetings will then be facilitated between interested parties, allowing exhibitors to engage with visitors on a more personal level.
