ISE 2015 will also be an opportunity for visitors to experience immersive sound in 3D format powered by Genelec. The company has a special 3D dedicated listening room on its stand and will once again be a key participant in the Immersive Sound Experience feature area at the show.
"It has been said that the 8351 is a paradigm shifting product," says Lars Olof-Janflod, marketing director at Genelec. "This is high praise and while it may be immodest of me, I would have to agree. I'd urge anyone interested in the future of audio to visit our stand, not only to hear the 8351 in action, but to also experience 3D audio as the content creators intended - through Genelec loud speakers."
The 8351 is a coaxial three-way Smart Active Monitor system, that Genelec developed in response to the need for increasing audio perfection in acoustically challenging production environments.
One of the emerging trends in audio for installation projects, especially screening rooms and home cinemas, is 3D audio. 3D audio is a completely immersive sound experience which puts the listener or viewer, at the centre of the action to be fully able to appreciate the full power of the content. On the Genelec stand, and in the special Immersive Sound Experience feature, there will be a fully working 3D system complete with 4000 Series range of loud speakers - a range which is specifically designed for the installation market.
