Andreas Gause, Gerriets GmbH director of sales and marketing, travelled from the company headquarters in Germany to present a comprehensive introduction to the full scope of Gerriets products. Lasting two-and-a-half hours and addressing more than 170 current and prospective customers, the presentation focused on projection screens, textiles, and rail systems in particular and concluded with a lively question-and-answer session. Audience interest was clearly expressed in a multitude of detailed questions, many of which were met with an expert technical solution.
After a raffle in which the prize was a Gerriets projection screen (4 x 3 m), the type to be chosen by the winner, the event was rounded out with a catered gathering and plenty of informative conversation amongst all the participants.
Last summer, Athens hosted the World Summer Games of the 13th Special Olympics. Gerriets was been involved in this event, in which 7,500 athletes with intellectual disabilities participated, representing 180 countries around the world.

The stage floor included 1,120 m² of Vario Brilliance, the high-gloss dance and design floor, as well as 2,100 m² of the anti-skid surface, Vario Grip. Other aspects of the stage setting incorporated 520 m² of Stage Mesh, 1,500 m² of Duvetyne R55, and 300 m of black sharkstooth scrim.
