USA - After supporting performances from above with its stage rigging systems, Global Truss America can now elevate the show from below, thanks to its new Stage System 360. A lightweight, modular system, the Stage System 360 is as rugged and sturdy as the company trussing products, but provides users with the convenience of an easily portable, customized stage-on-the-go to suit the needs of touring entertainers, small venues and stage rental companies.

The Stage System 360 is comprised of rectangular stage platforms, stepladders and safety railings that can be used in any combination to meet the precise staging needs of a specific event. Each 3'3" x 6'6" (1m x 2m) platform can be linked to other units on all sides, allowing users to create a stage with the square-footage they need and the shape most suitable to their event. Plus, the height of the platform can be set to four different levels at 15", 23", 31" and 39" for even greater versatility.

The other components of the system, stepladders and railings, easily attach to any side of the stage platforms, providing users with a great range of possible configurations. Stage access can be set up in the front, side or back to adjust to any venue site, and the safety railings can also be mounted to the front or back to provide a secure stage environment.

"Coming out with a modular stage system is a logical extension for Global Truss," said Ken Kahn, national sales manager for Global Truss America. "Our customers trust our stage rigging systems and they had been asking for the same kind of reliability in a stage system product. Now we can provide them with the truss that goes over their performance as well as the stage that goes under."

Designed for performers on the move, the Stage System 360 folds flat and can be assembled and dismantled very easily. It only takes minutes and a few nuts and bolts to completely secure the stage in place. All tools needed to tighten the structure together are included in each package.

According to Kahn, the modularity and portability of the Stage System 360 make it an ideal product for production/rental houses. "The Stage System 360 can be easily customized, and that's really important for rental businesses that need to tailor stage systems to fit the exact needs of their customers," he said. "They can link together as many stage units as they want and add any number of stepladders and railings exactly where they need them."

While adjustability and portability define the new stage system, safety remains an important feature. Each stage features a rectangular plywood top securely supported by sturdy aluminium/steel component legs that can carry up to 1,500 lbs. All the components of the Stage System 360 fit tightly together to ensure the sturdiness and reliability of each customized structure.
