UK - Giant video screen specialist Graham Burgess has launched displayLED, a giant video screen brokerage for all aspects of the business from the sale of previously-owned screens - an as yet untapped section of the market, say the company - to new screens and rental projects. The company's business hub is its website (address below), which went live on 1 February and carries details of screens available for purchase, as well as advice and background information to help potential buyers in their choice.

displayLED is independent of any screen manufacturer and will be able to offer purchasers a choice of many different manufacturers and models, advising impartially on the best model for a particular application, the most appropriate previously-owned screen for price-sensitive ventures, and bring the right people together for rental projects.

"The combined experience within displayLED spans sales, marketing, technical support and project management at an extremely high level," explains Burgess. "This means that whatever a client might want - be it a previously owned screen, a new one, or help putting a rental project together - we're in the perfect position to find the screen that will best fit their needs. And our technical expertise means that we can help them right the way through the process from initial advice, through project management and installation to maintenance in the years to come."

The experience of the displayLED team has included the sale, installation and project management of such landmark projects as the giant curved screens for Coca-Cola in London's Piccadilly Circus and Credit Suisse First Boston bank in Frankfurt, Germany; major league football clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Glasgow Rangers; and rental screens that have toured with artists such as The Rolling Stones and Genesis, as well as sporting events such as Formula One Grand Prix and the World Athletics Championship in Gothenburg - hence the company's slogan - 'screens with experience'.

"People are always looking to maximize their budgets," says Burgess. "It's a worldwide market in which there is clearly a demand for an expert broker to match the right equipment to the right buyer and we're confident we will fulfil that role."
