USA - Pop-rock band The Jonas Brothers took grandMA along on their most recent tour. Band kicked off their Look Me In The Eyes tour in Tucson. They will be back in the spotlight with the Burning Up summer tour, which commences 4 July in Toronto.

"The Jonas Brothers' Look Me In The Eyes tour started as a theatre tour then blew up and became a sold-out arena tour," notes John LaBriola who served as the tour's lighting director and programmer as well as lighting, set and video designer. "Initially there was going to be a modest amount of video and LEDs and not many other lights, then the show got bigger and added movers and additional LED panels.

"The goal was to make it video-heavy with a big, industrial look. When you look at the stage the main thing you see are the LED walls." LaBriola tapped two grandMAs for lighting and video control and three grandMA video servers. "The integration of video into the console was ridiculously simple," he reports.
