The four-day seminar gave everyone at Green Hippo and their Asian partners a chance to meet face-to-face, introducing people who work together on a daily basis.
Green Hippo's marketing & sales director James R. Heron kicked off the workshops with a general company overview and an update on recent developments bringing all attendees up-to-speed.
Subsequently, everyone received a full day of HippoSchool training with Green Hippo's head of training Simon Harris, covering all the major features of the Hippotizer media server range, including the new LiveMask and UberPan components.
Broadcast Professional's product manager John Paul Tan commented that "the training workshop was awesome. It was concise and the trainers were very interactive."
Days two and three were spent with Green Hippo's specialist technical support team introducing everyone to the server's hardware components and main troubleshooting topics. Kupo Shanghai Co., Ltd's Kane explained, "We have learned a lot through this training that will help us to deal with problems and questions our clients may have."
Green Hippo has seen a promising succession of recent sales to go hand-in-hand with the newly extended distributor network and strong predictions for the future as well as new projects already in the pipeline, provide an encouraging outlook for the coming months.
Some suitable evening entertainment was also organised and, in between dinner and drinks, Green Hippo's visitors were treated to London's We Will Rock You musical at the Dominion Theatre, which is successfully employing Hippotizer media servers.
Green Hippo sales manager Samantha Bailey concludes, "It was great to have all our partners at the distributor event, not just for the technical training and new features but for the opportunity to strengthen relations and introduce them to the whole Green Hippo team. The event was a real success and will definitely be repeated across the whole distribution network."
