Held in the Brompton Hall of London's Earls Court exhibition centre, the show attracted a wide range of visitors - including AV professionals and designers from the world of museums, tourist attractions, heritage venues, theme parks and edutainment - who turned out in impressive numbers to see the latest technologies, products and services available for their industry.
A.C. Video is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for the innovative range of Green Hippo media server products, however the specific focus of the collaboration was to showcase JigSaw, a brand new multi-screen management system developed by Green Hippo.
JigSaw is a software control solution for PCs that allows multiple servers to work together and behave as if they are a single virtual canvas. JigSaw-enabled computers can be connected to as many output devices (e.g. screen surfaces) as the user has licences for, and to as many different screen configurations as desired - which can be varying physical sizes and resolutions.
JigSaw is available as a per license dongle, allowing users the complete flexibility of choosing the hardware with which they want to work.
A.C Video's Lee House comments: "It is powerful, simple and easy to use, and an ideal product for building and running interactive exhibits and displays of all types. This is a key reason we thought the Museums & Heritage show was a great opportunity to reach a well targeted audience."
