UberPan is a multi-server screen management component allowing multiple Hippotizers to create a single virtual canvas. Connect as many displays as you have outputs and in as many different sizes and configurations as you like. Screens can be a mixture of different physical sizes and resolutions. Once configured, the 'herd' of Hippotizers are seen as one single server allowing easy realtime control and live manipulation from Green Hippo's ZooKeeper control centre.
The setup uses real-world measurement and importantly, all realtime functionality found on any Hippotizer remains, removing the need to re-render media whenever changes are made.
"UberPan is the result of three years development by our programming team and this award has confirmed that not only do we have an ever-evolving product but also the best team of programmers anyone company could hope for" said James Ross Heron. "This new feature has attracted interest from AV professionals working in very diverse backgrounds and that please us since we want Hippotizer to evolve into the definitive convergence product. This can surely do us no harm in our quest to achieve this accolade."
The software is currently in late Beta and is expected to be released as part of Hippotizer software version 3.1 released in early Q1 2010.
