Participants will be introduced to the basic principles and techniques of digital video mapping such as preparing digital content, setting up hardware and keystoning, through a combination of online teaching, and self-directed time to explore tasks and group discussion.”
Sound Design for Theatre: Online - "This course will introduce participants to the practical, creative and technological aspects of sound design and management for the stage. The course will cover the purpose and timeline of theatre sound and roles within this (e.g. Sound Designer, Principal Sound Engineer and Sound Operator), as well as an introduction to relevant equipment and software, such as QLab and Pro Tools. This one-week online course is suitable for anyone with an interest in sound, its manipulation and use in a theatrical or narrative context."
Introduction to Game Audio: Online - “This intensive three-day course will introduce participants to all the major aspects of game audio through fun and practical tasks, which are centred around real game projects in Unreal Engine 4 (UE4). Working in a team of up to four people, each task will challenge participants’ skills in a different area. Participants will create a game prototype, record and design ambient and gameplay SFX, compose interactive music, write simple code and implement assets in five different game projects.”
Music Production for Young Women and Girls: Online - “This course has been designed as a response to an underrepresented group within the industry and has been tailored with masterclasses and workshops from women in electronic music, as well as advice and a Q&A session for women and girls wanting to pursue a career in music production. The course aims to inspire an upcoming generation with the vision to create a more balanced sector. Participants will develop their skills in composition and music technology through daily workshops, which will cover a range of skills including composing music for film, making a dance track and developing a conceptual piece.”
