Seven productions are currently out on the road, all using lighting or video kit supplied by the technical production expert's hire service. Other productions currently using Hawthorn's lighting kit include The Ladyboys of Bangkok, Laila the Musical, Clybourne Park and English Touring Theatre's Brideshead Revisited.

David Slater, head of hire at Hawthorn, said, "The last six months have seen fantastic growth in our supply to the touring theatre market and we have ambitious plans to build upon this recent success over the coming year. We place huge emphasis upon providing excellent customer service alongside supplying high quality kit, so I'm delighted that the word is out about the service we offer.

"It's fantastic to be working with lighting designers like Phillip Gladwell on so many prestigious productions. With such a large inventory of kit, we are able to supply a range of equipment to meet the needs of lighting designers, helping their vision become a reality."

Hawthorn has invested £2.6m in new equipment in the last 18 months alone, reflecting its commitment to offering the latest technologies to its expanding client base.
