The intellaspot automated luminaire
Germany - High End Systems, a Barco company, will be showcasing a broad spectrum of product offerings at the 2011 ProLight + Sound expo. This year's event will serve as the launch pad for several new lighting products and upgraded solutions designed to enhance live events with creative lighting solutions, says the company.

High End Systems previewed the intellaspot automated luminaire at last year's show, and will further demonstrate the now-established fixture in full force. Debuting at the expo is the 'indigo highlighter' feature. Exclusive to the intellaspot, the indigo highlighter provides designers with additional LED output from the fixture and increases the layering abilities of the large exiting aperture fixture. This feature utilises four one-watt indigo LEDs mounted discretely to the front of the fixture.

Also on show will be the new Technospot - a full featured, hard-edge automated luminaire available at a lower price point than other fixtures in its class. With a large exiting aperture, impressive zoom range, and extensive effects, the Technospot brings professional touring features to clubs, small theatres, and the like, says the company.

Experts from High End Systems will be on hand to demonstrate the latest software release for the Wholehog line of consoles. Software version 3.2.0 empowers users of the Wholehog 3, Road Hog Full Boar, Road Hog, and Hog 3PC systems by adding new features and enhancements geared towards increasing productivity and creativity. This release includes many features requested by programmers and has recently undergone intensive beta testing to ensure reliability. Highlights include network tracking and failover, colour coding of data, keystroke macros, and more.

"The range of products we are showing at ProLight + Sound 2011 further demonstrates our commitment to the lighting industry, both with professional lighting and console products," said Bill Morris, CEO of High End Systems. "Lighting professionals need elegant solutions without compromise, and High End Systems is dedicated to fulfilling that need."

High End Systems is presenting its products with its German distributer Arcus.
