"Hitachi can now offer customers a convenient and cost effective approach to lossless high definition projection at distances of up to 100m. With a higher contrast ratio of 5000:1 these two new models deliver the high-quality widescreen images that customers expect of the 8000 Series but with the added benefit of support for HDBaseT," said Axel Kutschke, senior manager, presentation products for Hitachi Digital Media Group. "By supporting this emerging standard Hitachi ensures that customers with a need for remote or long distance high definition projection in large venues have a simple and affordable solution."
In order to satisfy the needs of a wide range of installation environments the CP-WU8451 and CP-WU8461 both feature three digital output options, with two HDMI output connections alongside the new HDBaseT RJ45 connector.
The 5000lm CP-WU8451 and the 6000lm CP-WU8461 both retain all of the standard features of the popular 8000 Series models including unique Hitachi technologies such as HDCR and Accentualizer to enhance the already impressive 1920 x 1200 resolution images. A range of optional lenses and system features deliver the flexibility to ensure that the projectors can be installed easily in diverse areas from small conference rooms to auditoriums, convention halls, and other large spaces.
