i-Pix shows its Building Block range in Las Vegas
USA - UK-based specialist LED lighting manufacturer i-Pix will show six new products in its BB (Building Block) range at the 2010 LDI exhibition in Las Vegas on the stand of its Canadian distributor, Theatrixx.

Says i-Pix founder Chris Ewington, "We're following on from the massive success we had with launch of these at PLASA. Our R'n'D team has focussed the last 12 months on developing these dynamic new energy-saving fixtures, and we're confident that now is the right time to bring them to the market, with increasing awareness of 'green' issues and pending related legislation".

Ewington adds that all industry sectors are now looking at the long term cost saving benefits that LED lighting can bring.

BB1 Narrow Beam single pixel fixture is designed for outdoor and submersible use, and is an RDM device that can be fitted to a range of i-Pix Power Boxes and Power Bars for even greater flexibility.

BB2 is an entry level two pixel fixture that has a choice of four interchangeable beam angles, and Camloc mounts - as with the other fixtures - for easy rigging or floor mounting.

The BB 2x2 is a square four cell self-contained fixture with removable fronts for the option of mixing up the optical systems.

The BB3 3 pixel fixture shares the same choice of four beam angles - 10°, 20°, 35° and 45° complimenting the other fixtures in the BB range and sharing the same rigging accessories.

The RDM DMX power bars come in two sizes - four or six way - with either standard disconnect or a hardwired model - to which are fitted the new BB1 fixtures.
