Ian Pope.
Australia - Lighting control systems manufacturer LSC Lighting Systems has announced the appointment of Ian Pope to the position of business development manager. Pope has extensive experience in sales and business development in the world market across a broad range of products. His wide network of associates across the world in differing sectors is something that LSC will capitalize on, say the company.

"My experiences show that in Australia we are certainly capable of delivering world class products, so when the offer to join LSC was made available I welcomed the opportunity. The management structure is one that encourages teamwork and with our very capable agents globally, coupled with new product development, I see LSC as a future Australian Export Award Winner."

Gary Pritchard, LSC's managing director, commented: "The success of the maXim range of control desks and the recent release of the EKO dimmers, has created very healthy expansion for LSC over recent times and our resources to deal with all the opportunities open to us became strained. We soon realised that we required somebody who could take the hint of an opportunity and develop it into a fully qualified market. Ian, with his broad experience in export markets is the ideal person to do this. With sales backup and technical support already in place with staff members like Richie Mickan, Ian is able to concentrate solely on the business side of the ledger."
