The enhancement involves updating existing areas in the Guinness Storehouse as well as designing several new exhibition and hands-on experiences for visitors. Since opening in 2000, Guinness Storehouse has achieved great success, welcoming over 700,000 visitors annually to the Home of Guinness and becoming Ireland's top visitor attraction. Paul Carty, general manager of the Guinness Storehouse, said of his hopes for the future of Guinness Storehouse: "We are delighted with the success of the Guinness Storehouse and we see the enhancement of the experience as critical to our continued growth . . . The enhancement is further proof of our standing as the 'Must See' visitor attraction in Dublin and will certainly add to our position as the world's favourite brand experience."
Ralph Ardill, marketing and strategic planning director for Imagination, added: "We're delighted to have been retained to work with the Guinness Storehouse team on the next chapter of this unique and inspiring project. If chapter one was all about successfully setting the scene then chapter two is going to be where the real drama and excitement kicks-in!"
