JET by Ohm is a range of British-made speakers at affordable prices, which can be seen at PLASA Focus on the Ohm/Impact stand RA-A17. To celebrate the partnership, Impact is running a competition throughout the show to win five pairs of Ohm BR-5 loudspeakers, requiring visitors to answer a simple question correctly to enter.
Impact, which has just announced the opening of six new branches across the UK, can arrange auditions for trade customers anywhere in the country, and will be happy to arrange demos of the entire Ohm range.

The JET by Ohm range comprises three top boxes to provide high and middle audio frequencies. These can be used alone or in conjunction with bass and subwoofer units from the range. The JET-T10 features a 10" woofer and 1" high frequency compression driver; the JET-T12 has a 12" woofer and 1½" high frequency driver; and the JET-T15 has a 1½" high frequency compression driver and specially optimised 15" bass driver for impressive full-range performance.
Three bass cabinets range from the entry-level JET-B15 (15" bass driver) mounted in a JET SALT (Symmetrical Air Load Technology) enclosure, through the JET-B18 (18" bass driver with 4" voice coil) and JET-B218, which employs Zero Acoustic Technology™ to prevent unwanted resonances from cabinet walls.
The JET by Ohm range is completed by three subwoofers that have specially designed baffles and low frequency driver placement to maximise the LF performance and minimise distortion. The JET-SUB212 has two 12" drivers covering 42-85Hz; the JET-SUB215 has two 15" drivers covering 38-114Hz and the largest of the three, the JET-SUB218 3,000 watt cabinets with two 18" drivers covering 26-115Hz.
