UAE - INFiLED provided the backbone for Jason Derulo’s performance at EarthSoul, the region’s premier eco-conscious music festival, which made its debut at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena few months ago.
Aligning with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability, EarthSoul also featured regional stars like Shae Gill, Arqam, and Celine Dee Matahari, who added to the excitement of the night.
At the heart of this concert was INFiLED’s LED technology, playing a crucial role in making Jason Derulo’s performance a memorable experience. Tasked with creating an upstage LED wall, along with image screens and several LED front walls for the band and dancer rises, was SLS Production, the AVL partner for the event.
“The installation process was smooth and efficient,” says Edgar Pulido, head of video department at SLS Production, who turned to INFiLED’s reliable and versatile 4.6 GXmk2 LED panels to deliver maximum visual impact. “We utilised INFiLED LED technology for the upstage LED wall, which was hung seamlessly along with the two IMAG screens.”
According to Pulido, the modular design and lightweight structure of the LED panels made the setup quick, while the high resolution and vivid brightness of the display ensured that every visual element was crisp and vibrant, providing an immersive experience for the audience. He adds: “The flexibility of the LED panels also allowed us to adapt them perfectly to the band and dancer rises, adding depth and dimensions to the stage.”
The setup included a 9m by 5m upstage 4.6 GXmk2 LED wall that became the focal point of the performance, as well as two IMAG screens measuring 6m by 3.5m, and 12sq.m of 4.6 GXmk2 LED fascia for the band and dancer risers.
“The LED panels offer exceptional colour accuracy, punchy colour profiles and high contrast, making them ideal for delivering crisp, vibrant visuals that enhanced the overall look of the stage,” Pulido says. “INFiLED’s technology allowed us to fulfil the client’s brief with precision, ensuring that every visual element was delivered with impact.”
The visual content, provided by Jason Derulo’s touring team, was designed to complement the singer’s high-energy performance. The video media was preloaded to Disguise VX4 media server, designed for plug-and-play functionality, allowing for minimal on-site adjustments. “This system ensured that the visual elements integrated smoothly with the overall production, delivering flawless playback and synchronisation with the live performance,” Pulido says.
He concludes: “The use of reliable technology like INFiLED’s LED panels helped us meet the client’s expectations without any issues and the end result was an impactful performance that captivated the audience.”
