Failler has been working with InnovaSon since 2003 helping out with a variety of technical roles including beta-testing, demos, after-sales and technical support. He is also the sound engineer for a French band named Plantec. According to InnovaSon sales and marketing director, Xavier Pion, although Matthieu remains freelance, his appointment formalises what he has been doing with InnovaSon for a long time, with particular emphasis on training, but importantly, his formal appointment gives InnovaSon customers a further point of contact for technical support in France.
The same can be said of InnovaSon's second appointment, Hans-Jürgen Heitzer, who is based in Germany and will be responsible for training programs in Germany and the UK. In fact Hans-Jürgen (aka Age-Jay) has been responsible for training and technical support in his native Germany since 2002 as he is also freelance for InnovaSon's German distributor, Mega Audio in the same role. His official appointment with the manufacturer will extend that role into the UK where he is to inaugurate a nationwide training program starting in May with the initial focus being on the major UK rental companies.
InnovaSon's Xavier Pion professed himself to be delighted with the new appointments. "In both cases it's an affirmation and extension of what Matthieu and Age-Jay have already been doing for us for a while. Both of them already know the products inside-out and will be great ambassadors for us in their respective territories. As our business continues to grow, we will be looking to extend our network of training and technical support into other European countries during the months to come."
