InOut's Panel Player.
UK - PLASA 06 will see the UK launch of InOut Digital, on the stand of its UKdistributor, CUK Audio.

InOut Digital is an Italian based manufacturer, designing and manufacturing advanced audio devices utilising solid-state memory. These devices have been designed to automatically reproduce warning messages, voice alerts, music and sound effects, in fact all types of audio files in a vast array of situations. The main advantage to this approach is reliability as, unlike hard disk based solutions, there are no moving parts. The memory is also extractable making files quick an easy to update. The four devices within the range cover all applications where audio needs to be repeated / reproduced.

The Panel Player can manage more than 16 hours of MP3 audio files and incorporates a stereo Class D 20W + 20W amplifier, which can also be bridged to provide a single channel of 40W. 6/8 multi-purpose inputs for single, sequence, play list or binary combination playing allowing up to 255 messages / separate MP3 files to be recalled. The files can be triggered via push buttons, touch sensors or PIR's, to mention a few. The Panel Player also incorporates an audio mixer to mix outside audio sources and an audio limiter for automatic control of the output volume.

The DIN player incorporates a standard DIN clamp simplifying that installation process. There are four versions of the DIN Player F-01 / F-02 / F-03 / F-04 and MP3 files can be played / triggered using either opto-isolated logic inputs (F-01 & 02) or binary combination. The F-02 & F-04 come equipped with a 12W mono amplifier, while the F-03 & F-04 include RS485 communication for interfacing with outside control systems.

The Replay is a sophisticated solid-state media player supporting flash cards up to 8GB. The device includes balanced stereo audio inputs and outputs, six opto-isolated inputs to trigger play lists and file recall (maximum of 512 files) and RS232 for interfacing with control systems. The device also has a connection for a DCF77 receiver antenna to be used with its radio synchronised clock. Replay units can also be used in tandem, with one performing all of the music functions and the second unit doing the advertising and fading tracks out and adverts in. Built in battery maintains the devices built in clock and calendar if the power source is removed for up to 1 month.

The Security Player is a sophisticated solid-state media player, supporting flash cards up to 1GB. The device includes eight opto-isolated inputs and up to a maximum of 255 messages. The device also has a single mono balanced output, an output relay, an integral loudspeaker (with adjustable volume) and an analyzer function for fault monitoring by an external surveillancesystem.

InOut digital also offer a comprehensive range of accessories including PIR's, touch sensors, self adhesive transducers / exciters and a free GUI to enable users to set-up the units, audio files, and play lists.
