Since then, 5 Star has manufactured and supplied a steady stream of cases to the AV specialist. These have been selected from 5 Star's recently-launched lightweight EX brand through to their robust and popular Tour Grade specification, and has also included bespoke cases for Doughty stands, PAR 64 floor cans and HP printers. The EX range is particularly suited to light weight equipment and is ideal for key office items needing to be transported, the company says. The core construction material is 6mm polypropylene panels, which offers substantial weight saving over the more usual plywood.
All Insight's cases have been finished in a stylish royal blue, complete with the Insight logo, all produced by 5 Star's in-house screen printing facility. Insight project manager David Tunnicliffe says: "We were looking for a manufacturer that put emphasis on attention to detail, and we also needed a company who could turn orders around quickly, efficiently and with no fuss. 5 Star has excelled in all these requirements and more."
