Renovations to the Boddy Dodd Stadium audio/visual system began two years ago with the upgrade of the Stadium's 10-year-old video setup. Although most of the budget focused on the video system, Baker Audio was still charged with providing an audio system that could mirror the new scoreboard's quality. The company developed a JBL solution that included two arrays of four VLA601H and two VLA601 line array loudspeakers in the stadium scoreboard on either side of the video board.

The old building at St George's Church, in Tufnell Park, has been renamed Rock Tower and has reopened as a place of worship. The building, which operated as a theatre and a community space in recent years, has been fully refurbished with a new extension, a cafe with free Internet access for the community, a youth centre and a day care facility for under-fives.

Recently when the Petõfi Theater of Sopron was looking for a new sound system, they asked various vendors to conduct a system demo. Naturally IFK was among the bidders. IFK won with the HK Audio Cadis System they proposed.

A solution was reached with the installation of two AX366 Arrayable Install Loudspeakers from EAW. When the units were installed in November 2009 as part of an overall renovation of the system, the room's sound improved dramatically. The brewery owners had a pretty clear idea of what they wanted - a sound system that delivered good sound and even coverage across the entire venue. The bar area is very open, with plenty of background noise and there are some areas with high ceilings and lots of reflective surfaces, while others with carpeting and finished ceilings.

A distributed system based on 24 Community VERIS6 full-range, two-way loudspeakers provide even coverage and hi-fidelity sound for both music and voice. The conference room and arcade areas, all of which have a more finished, dropped ceiling look, are served by Cloud6 ceiling speakers.

As The Crucible was awarded Grade II listed status by English Heritage as a building of architectural and historic importance in 2008, Hawthorn's in-house installation team had to ensure that the fittings used were not only in keeping with the period of the theatre, but also state of the art and energy efficient at the same time.
