Integrators Fujitsu worked with videowall experts PSCo to deliver a 4x4 videowall using the latest LCD technology from Samsung. The 46" screens each measure over 4m in width and nearly 2.5m high and customers in the store can interact at close range with the screens.

The interactive Mexican wave, designed by London based digital content company Poke is a feature that improves the customer experience. Visitors to the store have the opportunity to be videoed on a phone instore, doing their best Mexican wave, which is then uploaded to the wall.

"The Tokyo and New York stores are very much about the impression of the Armani brand through an architectural form," states SaMA director Keith Bradshaw. The Da Vinci Exhibition occupies most of the top floor of The 1830 Warehouse, a Grade 1 Listed timber frame building, originally completed in 1830 as the Manchester terminus of the Liverpool & Manchester Railway.

FOS supplied DIVAflex LED - RGB colour-changing flexible LED - which was installed by VME to run sound-to-light. DIVAflex also provides a strobing function which the bar uses as the atmosphere heats up later in the evening.

The lighting element, which highlights and accents the bar and seating areas to provide the elegant main lighting scheme, joined an initial sound-only installation completed by VME. The 300-seat Baby Grand is an intimate venue, which hosts a variety of different performances and features many small independent musical acts. Its stage stretches 56ft, and has a proscenium arch opening that measures approximately 36ft wide by 17ft high. Renovations to the Boddy Dodd Stadium audio/visual system began two years ago with the upgrade of the Stadium's 10-year-old video setup. Although most of the budget focused on the video system, Baker Audio was still charged with providing an audio system that could mirror the new scoreboard's quality. The company developed a JBL solution that included two arrays of four VLA601H and two VLA601 line array loudspeakers in the stadium scoreboard on either side of the video board.

The old building at St George's Church, in Tufnell Park, has been renamed Rock Tower and has reopened as a place of worship. The building, which operated as a theatre and a community space in recent years, has been fully refurbished with a new extension, a cafe with free Internet access for the community, a youth centre and a day care facility for under-fives.

With the church actively encouraging appropriate use of the church for outside events, a high quality sound system is imperative, but over the years it became increasingly difficult to hear and enjoy both the spoken word and recorded or live music over a system that was installed more than 25 years ago. When a bequest from a local island resident made money available for 'a project that would benefit both the church and the congregation', the sound system was top priority.
