UK - IPS has expanded its inventory of EXE Technology hoists with further investment in EXE Rise D8+ with an additional 40 1,000kg and 12 2,000kg double fall chain hoists, considerably expanding their EXE rental stock.

IPS, based in Milton Keynes, is a leading trade hire supplier to the events and production sector, offering extensive rental supply in staging, rigging, lighting, video, sound and power to a wide cross-section of clients nationwide.

Having increased its EXE Rise D8+ fleet in April with 1,000kg and 500kg units, the company has seen an upsurge in demand via its trade hire team with enquiries from its customer base, especially for the 1,000kg units. EXE has played an integral role over the summer season on some of IPS’s biggest projects and festivals across the UK, which have seen the full deployment of EXE hoists IPS now stocks.

EXE has been in action non-stop over the festival season on multiple events organised by the IPS team. Key highlights include the Kaleidoscope Festival at Alexandra Palace in July and the Mountain Stage at Greenman Festival on the Glanusk Estate nestled in the Brecon Beacons, alongside numerous gigs at the Jockey Club Racecourses during the summer. IPS is also the incumbent venue service partner at the Marshall Arena located in Milton Keynes, providing rigging and power support, where EXE hoists are a regular feature in the arena rig.

Most recently, IPS provided staging, structures and a complete rigging package for the weigh-in event for fighters on the Joshua vs Dubois card, the first Riyadh Season card in the UK held at Wembley on 21 September. The event was held at Trafalgar Square the day before the fight, and the IPS supplied rigging included 17 1,000kg EXE D8+ Rise hoists to support the onstage show production.

EXE's quality, performance and reliability have been paramount in delivering a great return on investment from the wide family of EXE hoists IPS now stocks. Responding to market demand and increasing inventory levels, this additional investment complements IPS’s existing range of rigging solutions.

James Mason, IPS owner and key account director, says: “We are excited to further extend our investment into EXE Rise hoists as they are delivering great results for our operation. The first IPS purchase was when we needed a 2,000kg capacity double fall unit for our larger roof structures and towers, and our stock has been growing ever since.

“The EXE Rise chain hoist range has proven to be notably quiet compared to other hoists and very reliable in operation in a range of different event applications. They have been popular with our own technicians and with our customers.

“Increasing industry awareness and customer specification of D8+ compliant products have made this an important feature for our trade hire inventory. Combined with a range of clever features and customer demand specifically for the EXE Rise products, it’s made the decision even easier. Increasing our hire range to include 500kg and 1,000kg models made sense, and this latest stock increase will boost rental availability moving forward. IPS now have over 160 hoists ready to hire.”
