The IPS team at the newly opened premises

UK - IPS (Impact Production Services), specialist supplier in the delivery of staging and structures, technical production, and equipment hire to the events industry has announced that its new, purpose-built warehouse in Milton Keynes is now officially open.

This opening marks a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth journey and represents the realisation of a vision first announced in February. The new facility, located just a mile from the existing site, is now fully operational and already playing a key role in supporting IPS’s expanding operations across the UK and beyond.

“Opening this new facility has been long awaited, and we’re absolutely thrilled to see the warehouse up and running,” said James Mason, founder of IPS. “This is a major investment in the future of IPS, and as we prepare for the summer, we’re excited to benefit from faster turnarounds, smoother logistics, and improved working conditions for our team. It’s a proud moment for everyone here.”

Key features of the new facility include streamlined logistics, with 10 loading docks, a centralised technical hub, bringing multiple departments together to improve collaboration and efficiency, and expanded project areas for pre-builds and de-prep, reducing turnaround times for complex projects.

The facility features a wide range of sustainability features, including a high-capacity solar array, EV charging infrastructure, water recycling systems, and intelligent lighting.

Beyond just infrastructure, the new facility reflects IPS’s broader commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and creating an empowered, collaborative workplace.

“This isn’t just a bigger building,” added Mason. “It’s a smarter, greener, and more agile space that enables us to take on more ambitious projects while building a better day-to-day experience for our people.”

The move was carefully planned to minimise disruption for staff and clients. The site’s close proximity to IPS’s former location means operations could transition smoothly, and improved transport links and on-site amenities ensure the team is well supported from day one.

IPS has already begun preparing and dispatching live event equipment from the new facility and reports significant improvements in efficiency. The warehouse opening comes ahead of a busy events season and positions IPS to meet increasing demand while delivering the quality and reliability clients have come to expect.

As IPS looks toward its milestone anniversary in 2026, this new facility lays the foundation for the next chapter of growth, enabling the team to scale its capabilities while staying true to its hands-on, client focused approach.

As the team settles into the new HQ, IPS is also preparing for PLASA Focus, taking place next month in Leeds. If you’re attending, don’t miss the chance to catch up with the team at Stand N-B05, where IPS will be showcasing a curated selection of its most in-demand trade hire lighting fixtures, including the Martin MAC Viper XIP, Chauvet Maverick Storm 1, Claypaky B-EYE K15 Aqua and so much more.

With a focus on dry hire solutions, the IPS stand will feature product highlights, team insights, and a familiar truss-based layout, plus a few sweet treats to enjoy while you chat.
