UK - The ISCE (Institute of Sound & Communications Engineers) enjoyed another successful Institute Day recently. The event, held in Watford 17 October, included the 2003 Warren-Barnett Memorial Lecture, given by Dr. Paul Darlington on AFILS (Audio Frequency Induction Loop Systems). Later, the Institute held its AGM and Annual Dinner, during which Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Leon Pieters of Ampetronic and E. A. H. W. 'Bill' Preedy - considered to be the Father of Voice Alarm.
